Spring signals a fresh start. Longer days, more sunlight, and warmer weather mean it’s time to lighten up! Replace heavy fabrics and dark colors with airy cottons and linens, and a fresh coat of paint in a lighter palette will add to the happiness that springtime brings. Gather up bundles of fresh cut flowers to sprinkle the scents of spring throughout your space. You can make a lot of impact for minimal cost with bunches of flowers from the grocery store. Faux plants and string lights are an easy place to start. If you live in an area with variable spring temperatures I am a big fan of using faux plants outside when the weather doesn’t allow for reliable flowering (or if you just don’t have a green thumb).
